Ms. Menger received her primary dance education at Seiskaya Ballet Academy from Valia Seiskaya, She was a 2001 National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA) Merit Awardee as well as a scholarship recipient and finalist at the Youth America Grand Prix that same year. Following an apprenticeship with the Washington Ballet in 2001-2002, she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Ballet Performance and Business Foundations from Indiana University in 2005. Favorite ballets/role include Balanchine's Apollo, Tarantella, Who Cares?, Rubies and Allegro Brillante, Jerome Robbins' 2 and 3 Part Inventions, as the Rancher's Daughter in Agnes de Mille's Rodeo, the Death Angel in Plotnikov's Coma, Marjana in Eldar Aliev's A Thousand and One Nights and Colleen Cavanaugh's Queen Bee and Glass House. She is also married to company dancer Roger Fonnegra. This is Ms. Menger's sixth season with FBP.
