Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Kristina trained at the New Albany Ballet Company and has attended summer programs at Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin and Washington Ballet. In 2009, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati with a B.F.A. in dance where she studied on scholarship under the direction of Jiang Qi, Yi-Qi Cheng, Dierdre Carberry, Michael Tevlin and Shellie Cash. While in college, she danced as a member of the Tulsa Ballet II, the Louisville Ballet and was a summer trainee with the Carolina Ballet. She has especially enjoyed performing in Marcello Angelini's La Slyphide, Val Caniporoli's Prawn Watching, Ma Cong's Folia and Lila York's Celts. Her repertoire also includes performances as a guest artist with the Dayton Ballet and Kentucky Ballet Theatre. This is Ms. D'Onofio's second season with FBP.
