A native of Moscow, Mr. Burov received his early training from the Saratov Ballet School, Russia. In 2002, he received his diploma and danced with the Moscow Classical Ballet for three years, performing throughout Russia and touring internationally; in 2005, he joined the Russian National Ballet for its American tour. He was also a company member of Eugene Ballet/Ballet Idaho. Mr. Burov's repertoire includes Jester in Swan Lake and Cinderella, Gamache in Don Quixote, Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty, Gopak Dance from Taras Bulba and the Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle. At FBP, his role include the Jester in The Princess and the Pea, Trepak in The Nutcracker, the Eunuch in Scheherazade, Aladdin in Eldar Aliev's A Thousand and One Nights, the cat in Plotnikov's Cinderella and roles in Rubies and 2 & 3 Part Inventions. This is Mr. Burov's fifth season with FBP.
