Fall Family Fashion Show Takes to the Runway
October 19th at Kirkbrae Country Club

Providence, RI - Tickets are now on sale for Festival Ballet Providence’s Fall Family Fashion Show, set for Sunday October 19th at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, RI. An event for the whole family, this fund-raiser includes fashions from some of the state’s trendiest shops, modeled by Festival Ballet Providence professional dancers and students, and celebrity guest models from the community. Proceeds benefit the Festival Ballet Providence Center for Dance Education Scholarship Fund.

This fund-raiser is presented by Festival Ballet Providence, Textron and GLAD WORKS. The event’s honorary chair is Textron’s Cate Roberts, and is co-chaired by Marie Weiss, Demetria Carr and Cass Plater. The show opens with a full luncheon followed by fashions for all ages by Arden B., bebe, Caché, Chatelaine, circa viso, Gian, taglia, La Femme Boutique, LIMITED TOO, Milan, RGE, Teddy Bearskins and L’Uomo Elegante. NBC10 news anchor Karin Reed will provide commentary as the models take the runway.

Guest models include Providence Salon owner John Bacon, former Providence College basketball star Marvin Barnes, Rhode Island Secretary of State The Honorable Matt Brown, Rhode Island’s First Lady Sue Carcieri, CVS/Pharmacy’s Jack Kramer, Perishable Theater’s Artistic Director Mark Lerman, WHJJ radio personality Arlene Violet, Festival Ballet Providence Board member Lisa Van Allsburg, and star of stages throughout Rhode Island, Rose Weaver.

The doors open at 11:45 am, with luncheon served at 12:45 pm. Runway Sponsor Tables of 10 are priced at $1,000, Preferred Seating Table of 10 is $500, and individual tickets are $40. Kirkbrae Country Club is located in Lincoln, Rhode Island at 197 Old River Road. RSVP is requested by October 10th.

The Festival Ballet Providence Center for Dance Education provides dance training to over 400 children from diverse backgrounds throughout the year at its Providence facility. The Scholarship Fund grants over $16,000 of financial assistance annually to intermediate and advanced students showing talent and financial need.
