Viktor Plotnikov to begin rehearsing World Premiere of "Carmen" for Festival Ballet Providence

Providence, RI - Boston Ballet dancer and choreographer, Viktor Plotnikov is coming to Festival Ballet Providence on Saturday, March 22 to begin rehearsing the professional company for his World Premiere of "CARMEN".

Labeled "the next Balanchine", Mr. Plotnikov's electric, modern choreography will light up the stage at Veterans Memorial Theater on October 2-4, 2003. Festival Ballet is honored to be picked by Mr. Plotnikov for this most important World Premiere production.

We would like to invite you to come to the studios at 825 Hope Street on Saturday, March 22nd between 11:30am & 2:30pm to meet Mr. Plotnikov and for an intimate, advance look at his dynamic interaction with our professional company.
