Theater Arts Camp
Ages 7 – 10
Dance training is not required…..A love for movement is a must
 
One-Week Session 
9:00am – 4:30pm, M through F
August 4 – August 8

 

This program gives children the opportunity to embark on a magical journey through the exploration of the many aspects of classical ballet and jazz dance. The children will develop a piece of choreography based on a traditional classical ballet and will create sets, props and costumes. Students will also explore the many different styles of jazz; studying its’ history while creating dances, costumes and props based on several different jazz styles. On the final day of the camp there will be a short studio performance. Students from many different dance backgrounds have enjoyed the depth and variety of this program.

Students are required to bring a lunch and snack.
