Emily began her dance training at the Dancing Arts Center in Holliston Massachusetts under Wayne Stewarte and Stephanie Moy. At the age of sixteen she was accepted to the Kirov Academy in Washington D.C. and trained with Glania Kozlava. She has also studied with The Rock School of Dance Education, Boston Ballet, and Cosmin Marculetiu. Emily has danced with the Orlando Ballet under the direction of Bruce Marks and BalletMet in Columbus Ohio lead by Gerard Charles. Emily has also been one of the Top 12 in the Youth America Grand Prix Finals and was awarded a full scholarship to study with the Munich Ballet School. During her career Emily has danced in works such as Twyla Tharp’s Water Babies and Bergit Scherzer’s Requiem. She has also enjoyed performing in classics such as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and Don Quixote. This is Emily’s second season with Festival Ballet Providence and wants to thank her family and friends for their endless love and support.
